Does anybody from the countries other than China know if it is necessary to supply the invitation letter whose inviter must be from the South Africa with his/her copied ID attached as well? Information about Visa Application in China

It is informed from the staff in the embassy of the South Africa that all the non-government applicants must make their visa application from the agency authorized by the embassy. The email address of the South Africa embassy in Beijing is homeaffairs@saembassy.org.cn. The requirements here, therefore is released by this agency with website in www.southaficanvac-cn.com(www.vfsglobal.cn/SouthAfrica/China) & email of infoctu.zacn@ vfshelpline.com.(infopek.zacn@vfshelpline.com).

The fee is paid for both the Embassy & service for the agency is RMB220 & RMB260.

The following requirements are introduced by the agency the type of visa applied which might be fitful for the Wikimania 2018 in Cape Town.

1. Signed(by the inviter in person, I notatedMaple alliance (talk) 19:22, 27 April 2018 (UTC)) invitation letter in English on attendance of the Wikimania 2018 with attendees' personal information[reply]

2. Certified copy of South Africa inviter's identity(South Africa Identity Card/South Africa Passport/South Africa Permanent Residence Permit/Passport Biopage + Long-term visa) within 3 months (only copy is required for inviter whose visa was issued in China or who is within the territory of China at the date submission), except the situation where applicant is invited by the South African Government department or institution

3. Proof of financial means to cover envisaged living expense during stay in RSA(Republic of South Africa) in form of:

a) Recent bank statements for 3 months (Salary/pension account preferable)
b) Bank book or bank deposit receipt copy

4. Original letter of applicant(s)'s company confirming full particulars of the applicant(s)'s, position of the applicant, anticipated duration of visit, signed by an aphorized person in the company (not the applicant's name) and complete with company seal. If unemployed, should provide inviter's guarantee letter/if retired, should provide copy and translation of certificate of retirement.

5. Proof of return flight reservation on letter head paper

6. A yellow fever certificate(if that person traveled or intends traveling from or through a yellow fever area)

7. If a person applies for more 30 days, to provide a detailed schedule of what they will be doing in RSA.

8. Applicant under 18 years(irrelevant to us, omitted)

9. Applicants who reside or work in other jurisdiction besides the passport issuing authority, should apply under that jurisdiction and provide the following documents:

a) Recent 3 months salary or pension bank account statement
b) Guarantee letter from employer which includes company's physical address and telephone No.
c) Notarized Business license with English translation, which is not older than on year at the time of submission
d) Copy and translation of Temporary Residence Permit
