Hi Kaldari, To answer your question about whether you can go on the boat trips I would need to know a bit more about your experience and the conditions you are familiar with. You specify less than 10 dives, which is very few, so I need to know more or less when and where these dives were done to get a better picture. If you have already done a boat dive, where and to what depth? If not, it will to a large extent depend on your own judgement, and whether a suitable buddy is available. It loos like there may be a majority of relatively inexperienced divers, so it may be necessary to reconsider the dive sites to provide options for divers limited to 18m/60ft. @Pbsouthwood: I just got my certification recently. All of my open water dives were shore dives done at the Bay of Pigs in Cuba. The maximum depth was about 25 meters. Kaldari (talk) 06:29, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Kaldari. Recent is good. More experience would also be good, if you can get it. I might be quite a jump from a tropical beach entry in a minimal westsuit to a boat dive in a thick wetsuit and a lot of weight in water that could be a lot colder. It is tricky to recommend for someone I have never seen dive, some divers might deal with it without problems, others not. A shore dive with a small group led by a local instructor/guide might be a better introduction to our waters. I will look into arranging for that as an option if you are interested. Much depends on how much time and money you are willing to invest. Pbsouthwood (talk) 06:57, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
