I have a bachelor degree in museology during which I gained experience as a conservator working in museums. In 2017, I obtained my master: History and Philosophy of Science and the Humanities. Here I focus on how knowledge flows through a society and specialize in the history of emergency medicine.
Currently I work on several linked open data projects in several GLAMS and on a broad scope data analysis of municipal monuments.
From April 1st 2016 to December 2017, I worked at Wikimedia Nederland in Utrecht as an event organizer and community supporter. Before I joined Wikimedia Nederland, I was volunteering with organizing events regarding the gendergap in the scientific community. As an event organiser I took care of the logistics of the events of Wikimedia Nederland. One of the things I did was to find the right volunteer for the right job. As a community supporter I supported the Wikimedians with their projects.
So one of the perks of my job was I got to know the dutch Wikimedian community. Here I met wonderful people from all walks of life. Their reasons to put in their precious spare time are inspiring.
