About me
I am trained in Social Psychology, with a focus on aging, gender and sexuality, group dynamics, cultural psychology, and the study of prejudice and discrimination. My work is grounded in applied social research, with advanced expertise in research design, methods, and analysis.
For more than 20 years, I have led measurement strategy and evaluation using collaborative, participatory approaches across all stages of program development and capacity building. I specialize in bridging data and research with real-world evaluation practice to support healthier, more resilient communities across the life span.
My early career in program evaluation and partnerships development built a strong foundation in group facilitation, needs assessment, strategic planning, data-driven program monitoring, and translational research—skills I continue to apply and deepen in my current work at the intersection of open technology and open knowledge within Wikimedia.
My work
At the Wikimedia Foundation, I work with the Movement Insights team to generate aggregate learning about Wikimedia projects and communities. My work focuses on identifying and addressing data needs related to engagement, diversity and inclusion, and progress toward the Thriving Movement goals.
I lead measurement strategy and enable metric development to evaluate multi-year product strategies and overall movement health. These insights inform product leaders and community-facing teams, strengthening data-informed decision-making and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Ultimately, my work supports leadership in advancing toward more intentional, effective, and impactful use of data in design and evaluation.
