About me

I am professor for Human-Centered Computing at the Freie Universität Berlin. I advocate the usage and development of open source software and the principles of open science in my research work, and open access to scientific and scholarly knowledge. I am a mentor (for the second time) in the Open Science Fellows Program, a funding initiative supported by Wikimedia Deutschland, the Stifterverband and the VolkswagenStiftung, helping young researchers to apply open science principles in their research work.
